At the Imperial War Museum North, your children can explore the first world war right up to the present day.
They can see the history of their ancestors, the service personnel and civilians and what their lives were like.
You can view footage from Peter Jackson’s ‘They shall not grow old’ part of a fantastic series of 360 surround sound projections.
Schools and groups are welcomed at IEM North.
The museum is fully accessible to wheelchairs and manual wheelchairs are available free of charge.
There are accessible toilets and a baby changing facility on the ground floor.
